Welcome to StiltBird Apparel! We’re so glad you’re here. Some of you may be new to us, and some may remember us as our original name: Pants for Peanuts.

No matter the name, our mission remains the same: to provide extra slim kids pants with an extra long and lean fit.

My daughter was born premature and weighed just under three pounds at birth — since day one, she struggled to catch up. Finding pants that were both long and lean enough for her was a real struggle. As a parent, I know the frustration. Shopping for clothing should be fun, not stressful! 

Along with my daughter, our business has grown and so have our customers. After many requests for teen sizes, we decided to expand our line and rebrand. We needed a name that felt more inclusive—one that would resonate with toddlers and teens.

That’s when StiltBird Apparel was born, inspired by the Black-Necked Stilt bird—known for its long legs that help it wade through shallow waters for fish. It felt like the perfect mascot for our brand.
